TV Shots (2024)

Life is complex and strange, at times it can be very difficult to grapple with our experiences and emotions. Often the complexity of these experiences makes it difficult for us to connect with others – to understand that we are not alone in this life. 

TV Shots (2024), explores the emotional complexity shown in film through a series of close-up photographs of my TV screen. By capturing the textures and movement of the scene, I aim to bring attention to the emotional weight conveyed through film. The flickering light, the colors, and the grainy pixels. The images on the screen may be fleeting, but the emotions they generate linger, reminding us of our capacity for empathy, vulnerability, and understanding. In my life film has been very influential in shaping my career path and personal development.
